The University of Sunderland
Regarded as a modern and innovative
university at the heart of one of the UK’s most up and coming cities.
Sunderland is located on the northeast coast
of England with easy access to the nearby coast and countryside. Close to
Newcastle International airport is within easy reach and has regular flights to
the major hubs of Heathrow/Gatwick and Amsterdam. London is approximately 3.5
hours by train.
Winner of the 2010 Guardian newspaper ‘Best
new university in the North East of England’, the University of Sunderland is
proud to welcome international students from across the world.
The North East is one of the best value
places in the UK, and living comfortably on a budget is much easier at
Sunderland than other universities. Sunderland house prices are lower than in
other parts of the country, which means lower-cost private renting and
university accommodation.
